Meet Dr. Erin Hughes

Dr. Erin Hughes is a board-certified pediatric dentist and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She grew up in Altadena, California and attended Howard University in Washington, DC, for her Bachelor of Science degree. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Meharry Medical College, followed by her Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of New Mexico. With a passion for working with children and influencing their lifelong attitude toward dentistry and self-care, Dr. Hughes continued her studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she completed her Pediatric Dental Residency.

Dr. Hughes combines clinical excellence with genuine compassion. She understands that children aren’t just “small patients,” they’re individuals who need comfort, trust, and care tailored to their personalities. Along with our team, she works to create an environment where families feel supported and children leave smiling, proud, and confident.

Dr. Hughes lives in East Valley with her husband and their black Labrador retriever. She enjoys spending time on the basketball court, riding bikes, and quality time with family and friends when she’s not in the office.
